On this page

Email hello@bricksid.com for help with your account, photo identification, collection, or connected chat app. If you are signed in on the website, the Help form in the app menu sends your message and account email to the same address. If the form is unavailable, email directly.

A scan doesn’t look right

Try a clear, well-lit photo with the minifigure or boxed set in frame. Compare the suggested catalog entries carefully, especially similar variants. Identification is a starting point, not proof of authenticity. Check identity and condition before buying or selling.

What to include

Describe what you were trying to do, what happened, and any error message. Include the app or browser you used and the approximate time. A cropped screenshot can help. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment card details, private download links, or photos containing information unrelated to the problem.

ChatGPT and other connected apps

The chat setup guide explains how to connect a compatible client to https://bricksid.com/mcp. Sign in to the same BricksID account you use on the website. Your existing plan determines which features and scan limits are available. BricksID has no subscription checkout or upgrade tool inside chat.

If a tool asks for an additional permission, reconnect and review the requested permissions on BricksID. You can revoke a connected app or personal access token at Connected apps and tokens. Revocation stops that connection's access to BricksID; it does not delete your collection or copies already received by the chat app.

BricksID does not receive in-chat photo attachments automatically. Ask for a BricksID upload link, open it, and upload the photo there. Upload links accept photos for 10 minutes, and the uploaded photos are available for scanning for 24 hours from link creation. If a link has expired, request a new one. Photo identification suggests catalog matches; review the result before relying on it. A pile scan saves matched items to your collection for review.

Privacy and deletion requests

Read the privacy policy for information about photos, connected apps, and stored data. There is no in-app delete-account button. Email hello@bricksid.com to request deletion of your account, inventory, and stored photos, or to ask what information is held for your email address.
