1. Who operates BricksID
BricksID is operated by Luke Reiser as an individual. These terms cover the BricksID website at bricksid.com and its connected chat tools. Questions and legal notices can be sent to hello@bricksid.com.
2. Your account and the information you provide
Use only accounts, photos, and other information you are authorized to use. Keep your password and access tokens private. Do not try to access another person’s account or private collection without permission, or bypass BricksID’s access controls or usage limits.
3. Identification and prices
BricksID suggests catalog matches from photos and provides available catalog information, condition assessments, and price estimates. Results can be incomplete or incorrect. They are not certificates of authenticity or guaranteed sale prices. Check the catalog identity, condition, quantity, and price before relying on a result for a purchase or sale.
4. Connected apps and collection changes
Connecting ChatGPT, Claude, or another compatible client uses BricksID sign-in and OAuth permission approval. The permissions you approve determine which BricksID tools that client can use. Approve only the access you intend to grant, and give clear instructions about whether you want information identified, read, saved, changed, or removed.
Identification alone does not save a collection item. Collection tools can add, change, or remove your records. A pile scan saves matched copies to your collection and marks them for review. Review those saved items for errors. Whatnot export creates a file; “Confirm uploaded” changes records in BricksID. Neither MCP tool publishes listings to Whatnot.
You can revoke a connected app or personal access token at Connected apps and tokens. Revocation stops that connection’s access. It does not delete your collection or cancel your subscription.
5. Plans and billing
Feature access and usage limits depend on your BricksID account’s current plan. Connected chat tools honor that existing plan through OAuth. They do not sell subscriptions, take payments, or upgrade your plan inside chat.
Website subscriptions use Stripe Checkout. Subscription management, including cancellation, is available through the Stripe customer portal linked from BricksID. For billing questions, contact hello@bricksid.com.
6. Photos, exports, and privacy
The privacy policy describes the information BricksID processes, photo services, token handling, and storage and deletion behavior. An upload link accepts photos for 10 minutes; those photos remain available for scanning for 24 hours from link creation. Scheduled cleanup may remove stored photos later than their access expiry.
Collection and Whatnot download links expire after 24 hours. Anyone who has an unexpired link can download its file. Share a link only with someone you intend to receive its contents. Expiry does not delete copies already downloaded; stored export files are removed when an expired link is requested and may remain longer otherwise.
A connected chat client receives the tool results returned to it and may retain them under its own privacy policy. Revoking its BricksID access does not remove copies it already received. Review the client’s privacy policy before connecting it.
7. Help and deletion requests
For help, visit BricksID support or email hello@bricksid.com. You can use the same address to request deletion of your account, inventory, and stored photos. There is no in-app delete-account button. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or payment card details in a support request.
